Description
I am Tato, I am the owner of this Surf Camp & School, I have been surfing since I was a kid and I started with the surf school nearly 25 years ago. Surfing is my passion and it became part of me and my family`s life. I live with my 2 kids Felipe (14) and Baltasar (9) and they love surfing too.
It is sited Punta del Este, one of the best places of Uruguay for surfing, bodyboarding, paddleboarding, relaxing and having a good time. The surf camp is situated in barra de Maldonado, one block away from a natural wetland and near the best beaches of La Barra. There is both a surf shop and a surf school: the shop is in La Barra and the surf school spot is 1 kilometre away, at Playa Brava Parada 30.Types of help and learning opportunities

There is a room at the backyard, fully furnished and with private toilet and kitchenette, most of the time exclusively for you in winter. In high season you might have to share.
What else ...
Beach is very close as well as the river. Go around with the bike, everything is close and there are lots of different beaches to know. Manantiales and Jose Ignacio are beautiful spots too. You can take buses to Punta del Este and there you have more beaches as well as a shopping centre and the main road Gorlero. You also have to visit Punta Ballena and Portezuelo: Casapueblo and Arboretum Lussich. There is an island called Gorriti where you can cross on a boat and spend the day there. Don´t miss the sunset in any part of Mansa Beach!
