    We are a family of travellers who found a beautiful place to put down roots and continue our travel experiences. We are Gaston, Victoria and our children Liber (12 years old) and Amaru (9 years old). We live in a small farm near Colonia Valdense, Nueva Helvecia and Playa Fomento. We produce homemade and handmade products, we have fruit and/or native trees to plant and take care of, chickens, calves, agro-ecological vegetable garden and a beautiful house to restore and share, with a very green park to enjoy outdoor activities.

    Somos una familia de viajeros que encontramos un lugar hermoso donde echar raíces y poder continuar con las experiencias de viaje. Somos Gaston, Victoria y nuestros hijos Liber (14 años) y Amaru (11 años). Vivimos en un campito cerca de Colonia Valdense, Nueva Helvecia y Playa Fomento. Elaboramos productos caseros y artesanales, tenemos arboles frutales y/o nativos para plantar y cuidar, gallinas, terneros, huerta agroecologica y una casa hermosa para restaurar y compartir, con un parque muy verde para disfrutar de actividades al aire libre.

    We offer a room with a private bathroom, but since this room is usually rented to tourists, we may ask you to move to a room in our house for a few days, sharing the bathroom with our family. We also provide meals and are happy to share additional meals in exchange for five hours of volunteer work. There is also plenty of shared space to enjoy. We would like to create a work agreement with each volunteer according to their expectations. Use of the washing machine is available. The kitchen is available for guests to use, and we aim to arrange with each guest to help prepare meals to share with our family.

    Ofrecemos un habitación con baño privado pero como esa habitación suele alquilarse a turistas, es posible que te solicitemos que cambies algun día a una habitación dentro de nuestra casa, compartiendo el baño con nuestra familia . También ofrecemos alimentos y nos gusta compartir otras comida por cinco horas de trabajo voluntario. Además hay mucho espacio de uso compartido para disfrutar. Nos gustaría hacer un acuerdo de trabajo con cada voluntario de acuerdo a sus expectativas . Uso de lavarropas. El uso de la cocina esta a disposición y apuntamos a hacer acuerdos con cada huesped acerca de la elaboración de las comidas para compartir con nuestra familia.

    We believe this location is perfect for nature lovers, birdwatchers, and those who appreciate the peace and quiet of the countryside. We are also just a few kilometers from two small towns: Colonia Valdense and Colonia Suiza, each with its own rich traditions and history, as well as several beaches along the Río de la Plata. Furthermore, Route 1, with buses to Montevideo and Colonia del Sacramento, is only 4 kilometers from the house.

    Creemos que el lugar es muy disfrutable para quien guste de la naturaleza, de la observación de aves y la paz del campo. pero también estamos a pocos kilómetros de dos pequeñas ciudades: colonia valdense y colonia suiza con sus ricas tradiciones e historias, además de una serie de playas sobre el Río de la Plata. Además, a tan solo 4 kilómetros de la casa, se encuentra la ruta N° 1, por la que pasan buses hacia Montevideo o Colonia del Sacramento.
