Description
We are a Danish family living in Canada, Me Anne (32), my husband Adrian (31), our 2 year old daugther.
Our animals are a very important part of our family too.
we have our very busy border collies
Elvis (6), Dolly (3) and Cash our new puppy thats 3 months old.
Rodeo our cat and our 2 paint horses Rodger and Party!
We started out as workawayers ourselves 6 years ago here in Canada and we would love to give back to that community now that we are settled.
We could always use an extra set of hands for help with the dogs, help prep food for the freezer, garden projects, small projects around the house, going on hikes and day to day chores.
Adrian works as an assistant foreman on a local feedlot and currently training our horses for work out there too. He is done most of the day, so I Anne stay at home with the rest of the family and run everything else.
we aim for as much play time as possible!
We try to be in nature any chance we get.
We love to share stories, learn about other countries and cultures, and make good food.
We try to keep our days simple and slow but filled with joy and fun small things.
We hope to hear from you in the new year!

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You would have plenty of opportunity to explore the alberta prairie, you could learn camping skills, gardening, dog training and plenty of DIY projects as this is our thing.
We love to use our free time for hiking and go on spontaneous trips to explore, which you could join at any time.
Help
We would love help with food prep to make life easier, day to day chores, garden projects, diy projects.
Work and play with the dogs, keep them entertained.
Elvis used to work and Dolly is a high energy dog that needs lots of stimulation.
Its important to note that since we live in a small prairie town, there is no public transport and a car is needed if you want to get around yourself.

Accommodation
We have a spare room that is just sitting empty, that we would love to offer to other travelers. You would be sharing the rest of the house with our little family. the room can fit 1-2 persons or you are welcome to pitch a tent in our backyard.

What else ...
There is plenty of stuff here to do, its an 25 minute drive in to Lethbridge, 1 hour 45 minutes to Waterton national park, 2 hours to calgary. 1 hour 45 to writing on stone provincial park.
There is a local swimmingpool, lakes to explore, wildlife to see.
We do live in a small town, but there is stuff to do and i go several times a week to Lethbridge where you can come with us if you don't have a car on your own.
As this is a kid friendly home we dont allow Drugs or big amounts of alcohol in the house. No smoking.
to enjoy a beer once in a while is totally fine. Thank you
