Description
We live in a big house on a beautiful farm in Iceland 1 hour away from the capital, 15 min to the next town. The family consist of me and my 10 year old, three very active lovely dogs, five cuddly cats, some chicken, 1 guinea pig and we have some cuddly ridable horses. There is a bubble hotel nearby:) It's very important to being able to communicate in English or Icelandic when staying here. Perfect speaking is not necessary but understanding and being able to communicate is very important. The mum speaks a few other nordic and latin languages but my daughter doesn't speak them.

Help
So I am looking for someone that could help out with the household like helping with keeping the house reasonably clean, cleaning animal cages/tanks/areas, taking care of my daughter (picking up and driving to trainings) and it would be great to have someone who has some experience with handling horses during summer months. During the winter months the horses normally have holidays but sometimes we have horses in a stable in Selfoss. There are also all sorts of indoor or outdoor projects that can come up.

Usually I have free a big room in the top floor with a queen size bed in a rather big old house, view from a window over a few active volcanoes. There is a nice female cat that is also living in that room (room mate) so cat allergies are not smart. Kitchen and living room on the floor below and shower and wc's on the ground floor. Working on having a toilet also in the top floor. Meals are normally 2-4 when at home and we eat quite a lot of meat, also horse meat sometimes but not our horses ofcourse 😁. But meals can be irregular at busy times.
What else ...
In the time off it is possible some times of the year to do horseriding if you have some previous experience. Travelling with busses or hitchhiking is quite easy from our location.
