Description
I am a retired woman, who used to live nearby in a primitive tiny house - but due to health issues I moved 5 km/3 miles into my current house in the North West of Denmark.
I used to work in homecare, so communicating in many different ways is well-known. I love meeting people from all over the world for cultural and spiritual exchange – and a good laugh!!!
Music is also a big part of my life although I am not a musician myself - meaning that I have a guitar, an electric children's piano, a set of congas, some tambourines and other rhythm instruments in my house for jam sessions :-)
I run a small Airbnb at the moment, but have decided that it's more fun to have people living here for a wee while, helping out with some of the things I am not able to do myself - AND getting to know about living conditions and culture in their home country.
I prefer people who do woodwork, painting and other things related to maintaining my house, but also people who are interested in small gardening, cooking (with me), singing/playing and just enjoying life!
I am a mostly content and happy human being, as long as I can have my morning coffee!
The community I lived in earlier on was established in 1970 as a summer camp for hippies and intellectuals, something between Woodstock and a retreat.
During the years it has developed into a free village-like society with a population of 75 adults and their children.
People come to visit there from many parts of the world, so I am used to meeting "strangers" :-D
Some key words are:
Simplicity
Awareness of the universe, mother Earth and our fellow human beings
A good sense of humour :-D
Philosophy and spirituality on the daily level - OM! -
Types of help and learning opportunities
Language practice
Light gardening
Creating/ Cooking family meals
Help around the house
Light maintenance
Help with Computers/ Internet
House & pet sitting

Help
Cooking/help in the house:
If you can teach me about cooking from your country, I would be delighted.
Gardening:
I have a small garden and a tiny lot next to my house; I would like to grow something there!
Building/General Maintenance:
Painting the house - fencing
Language practice, Español - Deutsch - Français
Exchange of knowledge and ideas.
As for other help, it would probably be giving a hand with the few heavy things, that I myself cannot move alone. -

Accommodation
I have a lovely guest room upstairs with a private toilet and wash basin - shared shower downstairs. During summer you can choose to stay in a tent, if you prefer
I am a flexitarian, which means that I eat nearly anything - but my kitchen is fine for vegetarians/vegans, as I keep the cutting boards strictly separated - and of course also separately stores vegs and meat in the fridge! -
What else ...
We are situated between sea and fjord, “Cold Hawaii” is not that far away, if you like windsurfing!
There is also “Nature Park Thy”, a big area between Hanstholm and Klitmøller, where the bird- and wildlife is protected. Try going there for a walk …
There are museums, art galleries and tiny farm shops in the area – the best little shop is in the village I used to live in 5 kms away.
I like the simple living, feeling close to mother Earth and the Universe - especially the dark and starry nights that we can (still) experience here. I also love to watch all the life in my garden, plants, birds and various insects.
Last, but not least: I am allergic to strong perfumes and cats (unfortunately, because I love cats!) - so please DO NOT use any perfume while staying here -
