We are a dutch couple and live part of the year in Andalusia (Spain) and part of the year in the city centre of Amsterdam. In between we are traveling a lot ourselves. Our place used to be a shed for 300 goats that we changed after 6 years of work into a olive farm. We are located at an altitude of 1200 meters in a beautiful hiking area at the northern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, about 700 meters from the nearest villages, Alquife and Lanteira, where you find shops, banks, and several bars and restaurants. We have two big friendly dogs, cats and chickens (all of them are not supposed to enter the house), an olive orchard, almonds and a couple of fruit trees. The Sierra Nevada National Park starts a few hundred meters from our dwelling and is an excellent place for hiking, mountain biking (we have four ATB’s) or horseback riding. The city of Granada is about 85 km. from Alquife. At our place you will find silence and clean air, space and security.
