  Hi from the Deocariza Family – and welcome to magical Lofoten!
  
  We're a small, adventurous family building our dream home in the heart of the Lofoten Islands – one of Norway’s most stunning and peaceful regions. After years of travel and global marketing projects, we’ve settled here to create a life grounded in nature, simplicity, and family – and we’d love to invite you to join the journey.
  
  We’ve recently bought an old property and are entering the first phases of restoring. There’s plenty to do, and we would love to get some help around the house. Whether you're handy or love helping with day-to-day life, there’s something meaningful for you to contribute - maybe some babysitting and help with cooking? We also do a lot of film documentation, so if you have photo/film-skills please feel free to write us.
  
  You’ll be staying with us – Georg, Ann Sylvia, and our daughter (soon turning two!). Georg is the mountain-loving, thrill-seeking half of the duo, while Ann Sylvia is the creative heart of the home – passionate about nature, food, art and slow living. We love hiking, shared meals, and quiet evenings surrounded by the northern lights or midnight sun.
  
  We're looking for easygoing, thoughtful people who enjoy nature, meaningful conversation, and being part of daily family life. If you’re looking for connection, purpose, and breathtaking scenery – we’d love to hear from you.

  We are a traditional young Norwegian family just establishing ourselves in society. You will be living in the same house as us, sharing everything except bedrooms. So you will be experiencing an authentic Norwegian cultural experience and lifestyle. Including traditional Norwegian food, hear the language and see how we typically live. The house we live in is a very typical home for the region, all made of wood with a beautiful garden. We are also spending a lot of time outdoors on hikes in the Norwegian mountains which are located in our backyard here in Lofoten, and also fishing, which is very traditional for this region. Welcome!

  Help

  We are looking for some help around the house in our private home and our garden. This includes cleaning inside the house, powerwashing of our veranda, lawing of mown, weeding in the garden, taking dishes, preparing meals and other typical household tasks. We would also love to host people who like to take photos for our passion project of renovating the house, this is not related to any business activity.
