Hi! I am Emi. A few years ago, I started the project of living in a quite isolated area, at the south of Córdoba province, close to a village called Río de los Sauces. Altough I always have friends coming to stay with me, I live on my own in a small house on the river shore, in a valley. This place is my small paradise... it's surrounded by nature, natural water and wildlife. I grow my vegetables and I always have small and big projects that I carry out, so help is always needed. Helping hands, stories, meals and any type of physical, cultural and artistic exchange is very welcome! I also like playing music and enjoy arts in general. I have a nice and big mud oven and I love sharing nice meals and chats. I am an English-Spanish translator and work from home. I've travelled a lot around the world, in many countries, so I always enjoy and appreciate the cultural exchange. I look forward to seeing you!
Hola! Soy Emi. Hace unos años comencé el proyecto de vivir en una zona bastante retirada, al sur de la provincia de Córdoba, a 7km de un pueblito llamado Río de los Sauces. Vivo sola en una casita a orillas del río, en un valle, aunque siempre suelen haber amigos que me se quedan en la casa. El lugar es mi pequeño paraíso.. es muy verde, tengo el agua muy cerca (veo el río desde mi living!), y estoy rodeada de naturaleza y vida salvaje. Tengo una huerta, y muchos pequeños y grandes proyectos para los cuales me viene muy bien ayuda... ¡siempre! Las manos trabajadores, las historias, las comidas, y cualquier tipo de intercambio físico, cultural y artístico es bienvenido! También me gusta hacer música y disfruto del arte en general, así que esto también es muy bienvenido. Tengo un lindo horno de barro y me encanta compartir comidas ricas y charlas. Soy traductora (español-inglés) y trabajo desde casa. Además, he viajado mucho por el mundo y los intercambios culturales son de lo que más me gusta. Bienvenidos!

You can stay with me in the house or in a tent, as you wish, and you'll be able to enjoy a place which is not so frequent nowadays.. with intimacy, nature and wildlife. When it's hot, you can swim as much as you want and enjoy the beautiful river. Plus, we can exchange chats, meals, stories, knowledges and anything that we have and might interest you. As a traveler I've also been hosted a lot and would love to give it back!
Podrán quedarse conmigo en la casa o en carpa, como prefieran, y disfrutar de un lugar de los que ya no quedan muchos.. con intimidad, naturaleza, paz, y la experiencia de estar en un lugar que aún está bastante intacto. Si hace calor, es un lugar ideal para nadar y disfrutar del agua. Además, podemos intercambiar charlas, historias, saberes y lo que tenga a mano y les pueda interesar. A mí también me han alojado mucho en mis viajes y quiero devolver ese intercambio!

Help
I always have work in the garden and I like to learn more about better ways to do it, this knowledge about food production and gardening is welcome. Additionally, I am working on a small construction (shed) and other improvements to existing buildings. And there are always field tasks to do: cutting firewood, stacking logs, weeding, etc. Lastly, I also receive help to add beauty and art to the little house, like a mural, for example.
Siempre tengo trabajo en la huerta y me gusta aprender más sobre mejores maneras de hacerlo, este conocimiento sobre producción de alimentos y huerta es bienvenido. Además, estoy trabajando en una pequeña construcción (galpón) y otras mejoras en construcciones existentes. Y siempre hay tares de campo para hacer: cortar leña, apilar troncos, desmalezar, etc. Por último, también recibo ayuda para darle belleza y arte a la casita, como un mural, por ejemplo.

I have 2 rooms available for you to stay. The house is small but it has enough space for all of us to share! Or you can stay in a tent in the yard, is that's what you prefer.

If you have a vehicle, you can go on many rural excursions in the area, there are lots of wild and beautiful places to discover. If not, you can always go on walks to appreciate the area and the traditional local village.
Si tienen vehículo, hay muchas actividades (más bien de tipo rural) que pueden hacer en la zona, lugares hermosos por descubrir. Si no tienen vehículo, pueden hacer caminatas por la zona y conocer el pueblito tradicional del lugar.

Yo misma soy un "nómade digital". Hay mesa, silla, sillones, hay espacio. Lo que no hay es wifi, tendrían que tener sus propios datos. I am also a freelancer. We have space to work inside the house, but we don't have wifi. You'll need to have your own phone with Internet.

Can possibly accept pets
Quizá un gato o perro pequeño que responda bien, ya que tenemos huerta. A cat or a small dog that can stay outside and doesn't ruin the garden.
