Description
Somos un oasis verde, antiguo, espacioso y preservado, ubicado en el corazón de una ciudad en rápido desarrollo.
Actualmente buscamos una o dos personas altamente responsables, con iniciativa propia, mínimo un 70 % de dominio del español y experiencia o interés genuino en tareas prácticas como jardinería, mantenimiento general, carpintería básica y cuidado de espacios naturales.
El rol consiste en encargarse del cuidado integral de la propiedad a cambio de alojamiento. Las tareas incluyen: jardinería, limpieza y mantenimiento de la alberca, cuidado general del terreno, compostaje, limpieza interior y pequeños trabajos manuales (como reparaciones o decoración), siempre en coordinación con los anfitriones.
Dado que administramos la propiedad de forma remota, valoramos especialmente la autonomía, la comunicación clara y la capacidad de tomar decisiones responsables sin supervisión constante.
La higiene y el respeto por el entorno son fundamentales. No se permiten productos químicos, ya que el agua residual se reutiliza para regar las plantas. Por ello, todo lo que utilices (jabón, champú, pasta dental, etc.) debe ser biodegradable, y sus envases deben ser reciclables o llevados contigo al terminar tu estancia.
No se permite el consumo de alcohol, drogas ni tabaco. Tampoco se admiten fiestas ni regresos nocturnos después de las 11 pm.
Nuestro espacio está alineado con principios de vida vegana, generación mínima de residuos y respeto equitativo entre humanos, animales y naturaleza. Por coherencia con estos valores, no se permite la entrada de productos de origen animal, ni alimenticios ni cosméticos.
Valoramos especialmente conectar con personas que apoyen la descentralización digital y estén familiarizadas con herramientas y plataformas alternativas a las de Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.). La comunicación se realiza a través de canales descentralizados o privados, por lo que agradecemos tu comprensión y adaptabilidad en este aspecto.
Cada voluntario es responsable de su propia seguridad. No asumimos responsabilidad por accidentes, robos, enfermedades ni imprevistos durante la estancia.

We are an ancient, spacious, and preserved green oasis located in the heart of a rapidly developing city.
We are currently looking for one or two highly responsible individuals with initiative, at least 70% proficiency in Spanish, and experience or genuine interest in practical tasks such as gardening, general maintenance, basic carpentry, and caring for natural spaces.
The role consists of taking care of the property in exchange for accommodation. Tasks include: gardening, cleaning and maintenance of the pool, general care of the grounds, composting, interior cleaning and small manual jobs (such as repairs or decoration), always in coordination with the hosts.
As we manage the property remotely, we particularly value autonomy, clear communication and the ability to make responsible decisions without constant supervision.
Hygiene and respect for the environment are essential. Chemical products are not permitted, as waste water is reused to water the plants. Therefore, everything you use (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.) must be biodegradable, and its packaging must be recyclable or taken with you at the end of your stay.
The consumption of alcohol, drugs, and tobacco is not permitted. Parties and late nights after 11 pm are also not allowed.
Our space is aligned with the principles of vegan living, minimal waste generation, and equal respect between humans, animals, and nature. In keeping with these values, animal products, whether food or cosmetics, are not allowed.
We particularly value connecting with people who support digital decentralisation and are familiar with alternative tools and platforms to Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.). Communication takes place through decentralised or private channels, so we appreciate your understanding and adaptability in this regard.
Each volunteer is responsible for their own safety. We assume no responsibility for accidents, theft, illness, or unforeseen events during your stay.

Buscamos personas conscientes, proactivas, creativas y comprometidas, que disfruten trabajar de forma autónoma y con sentido de pertenencia hacia el lugar.
Tareas principales:
- Jardinería y riego (especialmente en temporada seca)
- Mantenimiento de la alberca
- Limpieza y cuidado general de la propiedad
- Compostaje y gestión responsable de residuos
- Pequeñas reparaciones o mejoras (carpintería básica, pintura, etc.)
- Tareas diarias como recoger hojas, mantener áreas comunes limpias, etc.
Importante:
- Si por razones de salud no puedes cumplir con las tareas acordadas, deberás coordinar tu salida o cubrir el costo del alojamiento.
- No proporcionamos alimentos ni gestionamos comidas: cada persona es responsable de su propia alimentación.
Este espacio no es adecuado para quienes:
- Busquen vida nocturna o socialización intensa
- No estén dispuestos a vivir 100 % libre de productos animales durante su estancia
- Usen productos íntimos desechables no compostables (como tampones convencionales)
- No sean conscientes en sus hábitos de consumo (uso excesivo de plástico, empaques innecesarios, etc.)
- Carezcan de iniciativa o dependan constantemente de instrucciones detalladas
We are looking for conscientious, proactive, creative and committed individuals who enjoy working independently and have a sense of belonging to the place.
Main tasks:
- Gardening and watering (especially during the dry season)
- Pool maintenance
- General cleaning and care of the property
- Composting and responsible waste management
- Minor repairs or improvements (basic carpentry, painting, etc.)
- Daily tasks such as raking leaves, keeping common areas clean, etc.
Important:
- If for health reasons you are unable to fulfil the agreed tasks, you must arrange your departure or cover the cost of accommodation.
- We do not provide food or arrange meals: each person is responsible for their own food.
This space is NOT suitable for those who:
- Are looking for nightlife or intense socialising
- Are not willing to live 100% free of animal products during their stay
- Use non-compostable disposable intimate products (such as conventional tampons)
- Are not conscious of their consumption habits (excessive use of plastic, unnecessary packaging, etc.)
- Lack initiative or constantly depend on detailed instructions

Accommodation
Habitación privada dentro de la casa, equipada con ventilador, baño y ducha.
Mantener todo impecablemente limpio y ordenado es una condición esencial.
Tendrás acceso a la cocina, pero deberás dejarla siempre limpia después de usarla. En caso de romper utensilios o vajilla, te pedimos informarnos y reponerlos amablemente.
La electricidad en Tulum es costosa: apaga luces, ventilador y otros aparatos al salir de la habitación o no usarlos.
El día de tu salida, se espera que dejes la habitación, baño, cocina y sábanas completamente limpios.
Private room inside the house, equipped with a fan, bathroom and shower.
Keeping everything spotlessly clean and tidy is essential.
You will have access to the kitchen, but you must always leave it clean after use. If you break any utensils or crockery, please let us know and kindly replace them.
Electricity in Tulum is expensive: turn off lights, fans, and other appliances when leaving the room or when not in use.
On the day of your departure, you are expected to leave the room, bathroom, kitchen, and sheets completely clean.

Durante tu tiempo libre, podrás explorar playas, cenotes, ruinas mayas, lagunas y el centro de Tulum. El transporte más común incluye bicicletas, taxis, autobuses ADO o incluso autostop (bastante habitual en la zona).
Estamos a poca distancia caminando del centro, a 3–6 km de la playa y a unos 3 km de varios cenotes.
During your free time, you can explore beaches, cenotes, Mayan ruins, lagoons, and downtown Tulum. The most common modes of transport include bicycles, taxis, ADO buses, or even hitchhiking (which is quite common in the area).
We are within walking distance of downtown, 3–6 kilometres from the beach, and about 3 kilometres from several cenotes.
