Living in the forest and willing to share the beauty and challenges of this lifestyle. I have been hosting through couch-surfing in the last years and appreciate the possibility to travel within my own home by the stories of my guests. I'm happy to share what I know about Latvia, its culture and traditions, plants and folklore, dreams. I appreciate alternative views on life and kindness to nature. Im happy to share my knowledge about Latvian culture and traditions, herbs and plants, trees and forests. I can offer experience in authentic life in traditional log house, forest and pond. I can teach a bit about ceramics and dreams, photography. Im also involved in local architecture heritage community creating cultural events in hope to restore life in Beļava manor. There is an creative local community opened for cultural exchange.

Have learned a bit Hungarian, Polish, French and Italian via Duo Lingo and do not mind refreshing the small knowledge I have. Also, I used to teach Latvian to volunteers, so can refresh thees skills as well.
Accommodation
At the moment in warm season I can offer a separate room in the house and lot of space for camping or parking a van/camper. There is electricity and cold water. No shower yet, but there is a pond here.
I enjoy cooking, baking my own bread. My diet is mainly vegan, so I expect respect for that - shared meals would be vegan and I appreciate if you consume less animal products while at my place.

I'm located 3 hours drive from the capital Riga, half hour drive from a town with shops and public transport.
