    Description

We are three friends who met in Africa, who decided to create a slow-living, eco-home in the countryside of France.

We like to contribute in our little way, to the long term health of planet Earth.
Working with the flow of Nature, and moving from consumption to production are few of our guiding principles.

Our home in the countryside, is where we experiment and implement our philosophy about low impact, sustainability and off-grid living.
It is located in a remote and quiet area, bordering Correze and Dordogne region of France.
Our area offers pristine walking trails, greenery, and many tourists attractions are just a drive away.
Volunteers with their own transport would find it easier and a fascinating area to explore during their free days/time.
We also welcome Volunteers to join us to the local rivers, village summer festivals, during our rest and relaxation days.

In our home / eco-paradise, we have 47 hectares of forests and meadows:
    - We enjoy doing many DIY projects ourselves, and like to recycle/re-use as many items as we could find.
    - We also grow our own vegetables and fruits. For half of the year, we hardly had to buy anything from the supermarket at all, as we could eat off from our land and produce that we had planted ourselves.
    - Vegetables and fruits that we could not finish in time, we will preserve them for Winter use, through pickling, jam-making, chutney-making freeze-store them etc.
    - We have about 10 chickens, and supply us with delicious eggs all the time.
    - We also rent our home to visitors, and any surplus from it, is being pumped back into the DIY projects and general maintenance of the land.
    - We also chop up fallen trees in our forest, and made them into burning fuel, for our own use, during winter/cold times. We do not buy any wood. Our homes can be heated up by our solar panels and wood from our forests.
    - We enjoy planting more trees and plants, to create more lush forests and meadows with wild flowers. Maintaining and improving the health of our land is very important to us. We keep ourselves busy with it.
    - We have 3 beehives, and hoping to grow a few more. Bees are important to us, as they are Nature's best pollinators, and without them, we will not havee as good fruits/vegetables harvest from our garden. End of summer, if there is any surplus honey, we will also harvest honey for our own consumption. We welcome fellow Beekeepers volunteers to come and advise us too.

Our eco-paradise home is still an on-going project.
We welcome help from volunteers who can help us with gardening, general help, help around the house, light DIY projects, cooking, forestry and animal care at our eco-paradise home.
We are still experimenting and learning on ways to do better.
If you think this could be an interesting way to spend your time, please get in touch with us.
