Description
We live in Vereda San Miguel, San Carlos, Antioquia. Running a hostel/place for healing/ hosting retreats7eco tourism projevt/ natural reserve. My husband is a psychologist and developed a treatment that nature combines with psychotherapy.
And we have a hostel for the people to stay during those treatments.
We have just moved to our new property, an 18 hectare reserve. We could really use some help getting setteled/building/renovating.
And in general with the kids (2 little ones)/ the land (planting food)/ maintanance/ and the farm animals.
We are looking for a dedicated couple that likes to help build up and support our project. And that likes to be with children and can play with them creatively and actively.
In your freetime there is waterfalls for you to enjoy here and a primary forest to wonder around.
Roughly, once a month we a retreat and we have nice neighbours. Also we like to meet cool new people that we can connect with, have a pizza night, play a game / drink a beer with.
Note: the 'casa campensina'(where we will host you) is by far not (yet) how we would love it to be, it needs some renovation and love, hopefully soon we can paint it, but it just takes time.
2nd Note: it is quite wild here and far from the town. Real nature lovers will appreciate it! (Car/mototaxi does come untill the territory, so you dont need to walk much).

The exchange we can offer is a free stay in a beautiful reserve where you can totally come to peace, surrounded by nature. Spiritual knowledge and therapies.
Note: we do want that the exchange feels good for both parties. We won’t offer free therapies etc if we don’t feel a real effort from the other side.

A 'casa campesina'. its old but its clean. It has a shower, a toilet and a well equipped kitchen.
What else ...
During your time off you can visit the primairy forest with a beautiful waterfall to swim in. If you like hiking you can go and explore the waterfalls more higher up. In the nights we can come together to spend time.

I loved their presence here.
The location and land are absolutely beautiful and so is the project itself. It’s tucked in the mountains with an insane view and truly ideal weather.

They helped us a lot with various chores and were very flexible in doing in whatever was necessary.
I would highly recommend Sam and Holly, not only as volunteers but also as nice company. We loved meeting them! 🤗

They were nice and of course I would never want someone to stay here against their will but next time they should consider better if this is the place they want to be. Because now they left us without any help, exactly on the moment we really needed it [text redacted].
The kids are super sweet and it has been an honor to experience the life in a community on the mountain!
