    Description

We are a family of 4 with two young kids, a 3.5 year old and 2.5 year old! We also have a cute little dog that is super active and hypoallergenic. As you can imagine, life is busy with two little ones.

My husband is a high school teacher and I work from home on a flexible schedule. Our home is conveniently located by a sky train station that can take you to downtown in 12 minutes, there is a golf course that is walking distance and a multitude of markets and coffee stores just a block away. Super central location in Vancouver!

You will have your own fully furnished bedroom and access to food and snacks in our fridge and kitchen, with the expectation that you make your own meals.

When you reach out, please let me know what experience you have in child care and also whether you enjoy cooking and/or cleaning/organizing. This will help me schedule things more suited to what you enjoy and good at.

We are looking for someone who is a good fit with our family. We are fairly easy going and relaxed people, hoping to attract similar natured guests.

You must enjoy and have experience with young kids under the age of 5. This would include planning age appropriate activities such as sensory play, music and dance, reading books, outdoor time etc.

Our schedule requires assistance between 8:30am to 1:30pm, Monday to Fridays. Plus an hour of daily walking with our dog.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative with tasks and can hit the ground running and proactively know what needs to get done.

In your free time, there is plenty to do from skiing or snowboarding at Cypress Mountain to hanging out at our local beaches. We are located very close to public transit, restaurants, coffee stores (24 hour Tim Hortons is one block away!), golf course. You can get around very easily.

We are also just 5 minute drive from Queen Elizabeth Park with beautiful downtown views.
