Description
My name is Kishor. I run an agricultural farm in a pleasant village 40 km northwest of the capital Kathmandu, which is also my birthplace. This is not only an agricultural farm but also a family home where our whole family is happy.
This farm located in Belkotgadhi municipality-13, (Nuwakot, Nepal) and we have been farming organically since 2010 and has been producing vegetables and fruits commercially for the past few years. This agricultural farm is not only for production, but it is moving forward with the aim of developing it as a community agricultural school based on the concept of sustainable agricultural system.
We have been doing various types of agricultural programs for the development of the agricultural sector in collaboration with the local communities, local government and the international community. In addition, we have been conducting training on organic and edible agricultural products to the communities from time to time.
By embracing the important elements needed for social development such as sustainability, education and environment we have tried to be presented to the world. ‘’Let's do good Karma and prove that the future is better than we thought’’.
Therefore, if you also want to contribute to this campaign, you are welcome in this small and happy world of ours. Let's sit in the lap of the Himalayas and share our experiences.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
Any kind of travelers are welcome in our home because we mostly work on community. This farm is develpoing based on Permaculture method so it would be great if there are people who want to exchange such kind of knowledge. We are developing this farm as a farm-stay where national and international students/volunteers can come and stay for learning/teaching purpose. To make this happened, we need lots of knowledge/ideas and hands. You can help with building shelters, farm designing, taking care of vegetables farm, our nursery, plumbing/irrigation ......endless help.

I love to learn different language because I love traveling.Accommodation
Travelers are staying with us at the same house where we have separate rooms. Mostly my mother is a cook for everyone but anyone can use kitchen and try new things. We have clean toilet and shower but we don't have hot shower for the moment ( We will be installing soon). Our kitchen is completely Nepali kitchen where you mostly find Dalbhat, a typical Nepali food. We produce most of the seasonal vegetables. We don't serve alcohol but travelers are allowed to drink inside the property. As my own travel experience, our place won't disappoint anybody. Never happened before. :-)
What else ...
I personally like to hike/trek in new destination so I would love to make trips around the area. There are few but beautiful walking trials that I will lead them. Travelers can start Langtang and Ruby valley treks from our farmhouse. Local transportation is available but travelers shouldn't expect luxury. We can do biking and hiking.
