Description
Hello, my name is Mishell. I work for a non-profit foundation. After the earthquake of April 16, 2016, on the Ecuadorian coast, which left thousands of families living in extreme poverty without a place to live, the foundation was born. We started by building shelters made of bamboo. From there, we began building bamboo houses for the victims. We currently have a project in which we work in synergy. We provide a house to the beneficiaries. Currently, within the foundation, there are 8 people in the team and 5 people working. We also have a center where the community can participate in social activities, such as art, English, computer, and sports classes.
Hola, mi nombre es Mishell. Trabajo para una fundación sin fines de lucro. Después del terremoto del 16 de abril de 2016 en la costa ecuatoriana, que dejó a miles de familias viviendo en extrema pobreza y sin un lugar donde vivir, nació la fundación. Comenzamos construyendo refugios de bambú. A partir de ahí, empezamos a construir casas de bambú para las víctimas.
Actualmente tenemos un proyecto en el que trabajamos en sinergia. Proporcionamos una vivienda a los beneficiarios. En este momento, dentro de la fundación hay 8 personas en el equipo y 5 personas trabajando. También contamos con un centro donde la comunidad puede participar en actividades sociales, como clases de arte, inglés, computación y deportes.

Al venir como voluntario podrás tener una experiencia de intercambio cultural única. Conocerás de primera mano como es el día a día en la comunidad de Tonchigüe. Podras participar en días festivos típicos de Ecuador y descubrir una cultura llena de calidez, alegría y solidaridad.
Durante tu estancia, tendrás la oportunidad de conocer y trabajar junto a n uestro equipo apoyando en la actividades sociales, talleres y proyectos colaborativos. We are currently seeking individuals passionate about teaching and community. We need English, music, art, dance, and technology teachers who want to share their skills and knowledge with children and adults.
You will have the opportunity to teach classes, support workshops, develop educational activities, and collaborate on community projects. We are looking for people who enjoy teamwork and community, and who are creative and motivated.
Actualmente estamos buscando personas apasionadas por la enseñanza y la comunidad. Necesitamos profesores de inglés, música, arte, baile y tecnología que quieran compartir sus habilidades y conocimientos con niños y adultos.
Tendrás la oportunidad de dar clases, apoyar en talleres, desarrollar actividades educativas y colaborar en proyectos comunitarios. Buscamos personas que disfruten trabajar en equipo y en comunidad, que sean creativas y motivadas.

Accommodation
We ensure that you have a clean and safe place to sleep. We offer accommodation at the hotel near the school with a kitchen area so that you can prepare your own meals, but we do not provide food. We offer accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen so that volunteers can prepare their own meals. We do not provide meals.
The collaboration schedule is 2 to 3 hours per day, 3 days per week.
Nos aseguramos de proporcionarte un lugar limpio y seguro para dormir. Ofrecemos alojamiento en el hotel con un espacio para cocinar, de modo que puedas preparar sus propias comidas, pero no proporcionamos alimentación.
