    Description

    Hello to you!
We are a family of 4 (boy 9y and doughter 3y old) and recently came back from a long journey we made with our sailingboat, that took us over the atlantic and to beautiful places… We love to meet other people and countries and are friendly, happy and openminded people!
But back on land, we dived into a new adventure: turning a pretty big patch of land (4000 m2) into a lovely ecological garden! We worked quite hard so far and planted over 100 plants and trees... Are willing to create a lovely flower meadow and are keen to grow our own veggies. But we need help with all that!

What we can offer: you can stay in our campervan located on the patch next to our circus wagon! The van is equipped with a bed for two, a little kitchen, a shower and a toilet - the van is cosy and clean but not big nor posh (old Mercedes 708D we lived in for one year) ;-)
We are staying in the circus wagon and will be cooking for you. The food will be mostly vegetarian. Sometimes we eat meet from the local eco-farmer close by, which we grill over the campfire... We can consider your food preferences. We could also change roles now and then, and you cook for us and look after the children, while we are working in the garden...

Boek is a tiny, rural, dead-end street village located next to the huge lake Müritz and the big Müritz Nationalpark. Within a 10 minutes walk you can reach a nice and tiny bathing area at the Müritz or the woods, where we often saw the fox chasing the rabbit ;-)
Because of the lovely location, some tourists visit the place and therefore we have a nice 'Kutchercafé', a natural campsite and even a little hotel in the village. You are welcome to use our bikes to see the beautiful area...

Boek isn't easy to reach with public transport, but it's not impossible. There is a bus for example. But when all else fails we can pick you up from the next train station.

One important info: the place is only our vacation location and we are there pretty often, but normaly no longer than a week or two. That‘s why we are flexible with hosting volunteers, but we can‘t host anyone for longterm!

We are happy to hear from you!
    See you soon!
    Sophia and Marco

We speak german and english fluently and a little french and only very little spanish. We would love to host someone who speaks (native or at least fluent) english and maybe another language, so we could learn more… But after all the language isn‘t that important - it‘s the people!
