Hi, my name is Veronica!
My colleague Reina and I direct a Foundation, a small non-profitable organization or Sanctuary whose Real mission is to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome Horses, Ponies, Donkeys, and also, develop Therapy and Education activities with horses, by means of Win Win Programs within the Environment, where both animals and humans involved receive benefits equally.
We carrie out our mission at a small Horse Santuary where we take care of the horses, ponies, donkeys and farm animals (goat, geese, chickens, dogs, pigmmy pigs and cats) that we rescue and where we also develop activities within the Environment.
We are starting to develop an Eco Proyect, a sustainable ranch where our animals can roam freely and where we can carrie on rescuing and helping others. We will be starting paper work for building permission in April 2022.
We would be happy to welcome 2 or 3 volunteers with prevoius experience with horses, who could lend us a hand with the ranch daily chores (feeding, grooming and mucking out mainly) also that could help in the house a bit or regading the construction.
Our previous workawayers have stayed with us between 3 months and 1 year. The longer they can stay the better for us.
Both Reina and myself don't live in the premissis where the Sanctuary is located and where the volunteers are lodged. We do work there 2 to 4 days a week. The house is spacious and the bedrooms have their own privacy, with a shared kitchen, big living room and 2 of bathrooms.
We would be happy to asnwer any questions regarding for example the accomadation and the daily routine with the animals.
Thank you for taking time to read our profile. Hope to meet you soon!
¡Hasta pronto!
Vero and Reina.
