Description
¡Hola!
This is Ana (32), right now, I need construction help in my little home in Avinyonet de Puigventós, a village 8km from Figueres. The stay would be 1 week or maximum 10 days.
I need someone with knowledge in construction and DIY. I need to build two wooden doors, put up mosquito nets, fix walls, make floor joints, etc.
I offer a single room (there is no door yet!), bike and food in exchange for 4 hours of work / 5 days a week. I am very flexible with schedules, so these conditions can be adjusted to each case. Just tell me about your needs.
The nearest bus stop is a 15 minute walk from the house (next to a car road). In the village there is just a bar, a pharmacy and a small food store. It is a perfect place if you are looking for calm. You can use the bike to go to the nearest city (8km) or I can drive you wherever you need.
One or two days a week I go to Llançà, a beautiful sea town on the Costa Brava, to visit my parents and my dog Mara. You are very welcome to join us for a lunch and spend the day in the beach :)
I speak Spanish, Catalan and English. I understand French, but I'm not really fluent.
* Important:
1. My diet is very strict: in general, I don't eat sugar, gluten, processed foods, nuts and legumes, so we can share some meals or you can cook yourself. I can buy you whatever you like.
2. I don't have wifi at home, only wired internet. I have an extra cable for you with an adapter.
3. Please, don't use chemicals at home or artificial perfumes: commercial deodorants, beauty products, cleaning products, etc. Try to use everything as biodegradable as possible.

What else ...
The Empordà region in general will appeal to those interested in the history and/or burgeoning viticulture and gastronomy of Northern Catalonia. Figueres works well as a base for day trips to these destinations. It is also happens to be the case that Figueres is 15 minutes by car or 25 minutes by train from the beaches of the Costa Brava.
