Hello! We are Lou and Jeremy, a city-dwelling couple living in a big old home with rambling gardens in Sydney's inner western suburbs. We are looking for some help in the home and garden as we try and turn this suburban block in to an abundant wonderland.

We are arts and music enthusiasts and would love to share this with you during your stay. From time to time we attend local music nights and love to go out to see gigs, art openings and more. We can help you discover some underground gems of Sydney's music scene.

We are also beach-lovers and ocean swimmers and can take you to some great spots for a dip or a walk. We think Sydney has the best city beaches in the world so you're in for a treat!

We are interested in social justice, activism, history and Indigenous rights. We have plenty of knowledge about Australia's Aboriginal history and contemporary political struggles that we can share with you. We live on the land of the Bidgigal people and the local river Goolyari (terribly re-named the Cooks River) has many significant hunting, gathering and ceremonial sites of the local Bidgigal and Gadigal peoples of the Eora nation.

We have a big old house and a rambling garden and are chipping away slowly to turn this home into an abundant wonderland. We would love to host people with handyman or gardening and food-growing skills, but anyone who's willing to have a go and get your hands dirty on our house and garden projects will be welcome :)

As we live on a big property, there are always maintenance tasks we need help with such as weeding, pruning, clearing gutters, cleaning windows, sweeping, painting, sanding, oiling and the like. From time to time we also have special projects going. If you have any special skills or interests we are happy to find tasks that best match your preference.

Our home has great public transport and you can be in the city in less than half an hour on the train, or in the vibrant hot-spots of Marrickville and Newtown on a short bus ride. We have bikes which you are welcome to use and a beautiful cycle paths near our house - go for a ride along the river or to the beach!

Currently we are sharing our home with our good friend Ash (40) who is making a documentary film about an incredible Australian female artist.
