Description
We are a young couple living in the remote Anahim Lake.
3 years ago we bought 150 beautiful acres. We own some goats, cows, horses, chickens, dogs and cats (and who knows what we might end up with by the morning).
I myself came from germany to canada 7 years ago, planning on staying for one year. This plan quickly changed when I met my husband.
I am a paramedic and my husband is a welder/ machine operator. When we aren't at work we are working on improving our house and the property.
There is always a lot to do and sometimes it is hard to keep up with the list while trying to pay the bills.
We are both in our mid 20s and consider ourselves very lucky to live the life we are living.
With all the work that is adding up (improving fences, fixing up the barn, building a guest cabin for my family etc) we are now considering finding someone (ideally a couple) who would enjoy exploring our beautiful area while helping us out. -

You will get to explore the beautiful, remote Cariboo Chilcotin while fishing, having campfires, swimming, hiking etc.
There are many lakes with great camping spots in our area as well as some hiking trails in the nearby rainbow mountains. -

Accommodation
You would have a travel trailer to yourself and a fridge filled with whatever you need to cook for yourself. Ideally we are looking for a couple that enjoys their privacy after a few hours of work but also likes a shared meal/ campfire every once in awhile.
We eventually want to build a guest cabin that workaways could move into. -
