We live on the banks of a beautiful river in central Bali called the Tukad Petanu. We have recently finished building our home at a wonderful eco-neighborhood. The neighborhood where we live is still in its early days of development, but our family's home is now complete and we have some extra rooms that we rent out and sometimes use for volunteers that would like to come stay and work with us.
Also at the moment, there is some mining activities happening not too far from our house and during the daytime it can be quite noisy. But it’s quiet and peaceful here after 5:30pm through the night. We are participating in a campaign to help spread awareness about the mining see and in the longer-term aim to work with local leaders to socialize solutions for more sustainable livelihoods for the local villages.
Please note that our offer for workawayers at our home includes accommodation and self-help breakfast but other meals are not included.

Private guest room with shared bathroom
Our family has hosted many volunteers over the years and we tend to be quiet and appreciate our privacy, so if you are the independant type you will fit in best with us. There is plenty of opportunities to explore in the local village of Kemenuh, or in dynamic Ubud, which is a bout 20 minutes drive from where we are located (you would need to rent a motorbike or ride a bicycle to get there).
