I am so grateful to Wende, Ash, Jasper, and Caspian for welcoming me into their home as if I were another member of the family. This WorkAway experience has felt more like visiting close friends than it has a work trade. Wende was communicative about expectations, clear about work instructions, and both Wende and Ash were such great ambassadors to

The family was in the process of moving, so my work consisted mostly of packing and hauling boxes from the house to the storage unit. I also helped watch the boys while Wende and Ash were gone, and this included cooking, washing dishes, and watching movies/playing video games with them. I don't feel overworked, and I was left plenty of time to get to know the town and the nearby universities.
All in all, I would highly recommend staying with Wende and family if you are planning on visiting Burlington.

Jacob and Abbie are a very dynamic and sweet couple. They are excellent cooks, very clean, intelligent and good communicators. They are experienced with gardening and also helped me with home decorating and repairs. They were sympathetic and kind to my children, who loved them.
We had a lovely few weeks staying with Wendy and her two kids in her beautiful home in Italy. We helped with a variety of things including childcare, cooking, and general computer tasks. Her two kids are fun and we enjoyed spending time with them. Wendy made sure we had everything we needed and actively asked us to take free time to explore the

They are responsible and talented. I trusted them alone in my home for a week when I had to travel for an appointment. They are good with children, cooking, cleaning, computer work, safe driving.

Wende proved to be a fabulous host!
She picked me up from the airport and it was apparent she was very professional and organised from the beginning whilst being down to earth.
I enjoyed meeting and working with both of her wonderful boys who were super engaged and fun and there was never a dull moment.
The house was spacious and away from the

The view from her home was stunning and I enjoyed eating together, socialising and was warmly accepted into the family for my stay there.
A fabulous experience with lots of reflective time to myself and I could interact with the family easily too. Wende is kind and thoughtful.

This was my first workaway and it was pretty good. Wende and the children live in a beautiful house surrounded by nature. Wende is kind and I immediately felt at home; the children, Caspian and Jasper, are very cheerful, active and never get tired! I spent most of the time with them and talked about a lot of interesting topics. The only thing that

Apart from that it was a good experience. If you want to know more about my experience you can contact me!😊You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I loved staying with Wende and the boys. The kids were a little wild but fun and entertaining to be around. Wende was fun to talk to and hang out with, she was always coming up with things to do so no one was bored. You are a little isolated on top of a mountain but close to a cute little town and the bus/train system make it easy to visit bigger
