Description
We, Tjerk and Ellis, have been the managers of a naturist family campsite since 2020. A beautiful, friendly campsite in a mountainous setting, with the premise that guests enjoy their well-deserved holiday and we as a team are an important part of it. A cheerful team radiates that energy on the guests.
About us:
We are a family with two boys aged 16 and 14. We emigrated in 2011, the boys were 7 months and 2 years old. We became an employee of our (in-laws) parents, after which we took over the campsite in 2020. The children grew up here at the campsite, with parents who worked a lot so they are quite independent. Sometimes they help, as do the (in-laws) parents.
About the campsite;
The most important thing here is that we are a naturist family campsite. For those who don't know; It is like an ordinary family campsite where swimwear is not allowed and no clothing is allowed in and around the pool. Here the staff basically always wears clothes, as a guest you are free to wear clothes or not. Sexual contacts in public are not allowed. We are located on a mountainside, with in the middle a center with the restaurant, bar, terrace, sanitary facilities and swimming pool. All pitches are small islands or terraces, we do not have fields where one can stand row by row. We like to have and keep it clean, everyone seems to contribute to that, including the guests. Unfortunately, cleaning remains an important part of our work. We have a cozy bar, terrace and restaurant. Guests can enjoy a joint meal at least 4 days a week, which they must register for in advance. We, as staff, eat this meal at the same time, so there is a lot of contact between staff and guests. And the guests also easily make contact with each other.
We are still looking for help (in preference a couple) from April until October. We are mainly still looking for people with a reasonable knowledge of the Dutch language, because the older guests and little children do not speak English and therefore communication becomes difficult.Types of help and learning opportunities

General Maintenance
Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Life on a campsite can be primitive, but with us there are many conveniences. The shower rooms are heated in cold periods, the sanitary facilities are clean, you can eat something at any time of the day, you meet many new people, there is internet, you can find tranquility but also the commotion. You live outside, in the middle of nature and work with and for cheerful people. There are many Dutch people here (they often also speak English) with whom you can easily get in touch, but also the French guests (often do not speak English) are often in for a chat.

Help
We are looking for various 'handy hands' for support, which can be combined.
- Kitchen assistant and waitress (making salads, preparing dishes, cleaning up, but also serving and removing dishes, washing dishes / drying)
- Cleaner (sanitary facilities, accommodations)
- Handymen (repairing leaking faucet, fixing clogged drains, pruning, removing weeds)
- Entertainment (crafts min 2x a week with the children, sports activities and other activities on request)
Being able to speak (English or) Dutch is necessary. Being able to speak French is nice, but not a necessity.
The allowance is the minimum wage per hour of our country, which is 11.27 per hour. We also have various sleeping places in caravans to offer and together we can coordinate the costs for food and drinks.Languages spoken
French: Fluent
Dutch: Fluent
English: Intermediate
German: BeginnerAccommodation
We have a few caravans (old, but clean and with fine bed) for the staff at the campsite. The restaurant, terrace and swimmingpool is often also a space where the staff relaxes.
What else ...
In the area you can enjoy walking. You can do canoeing or swimming on the adjacent river. In leisure time you can also enjoy the pool on our campsite. There are many attractions in the area, such as nice authentic villages, wineries, a nougat factory, bird and crocodile park...
