    Description

    Hello!

    I'm Bex, originally from the UK, and now living in the beautiful countryside of northern Ibiza for the past ten years.

    I'd like to start with a one-week stay and, if we're both happy, we can decide together whether to extend for a second week.

    Life here is peaceful and close to nature. There are 2 geriatric hens (Dora & Flora) and Merlin the cat, plenty of fresh air, beautiful walks and pine forest all around. It's a special place for someone who enjoys simple living, doesn't mind getting their hands dirty and appreciates a quieter side of Ibiza.

    I'm hoping to find someone who is mature (40+), reliable, practical, easygoing and happy to work independently once they've been shown what needs doing. In return, you'll have your own private room in a relaxed and welcoming home, with plenty of free time each day to explore the island.

    If this sounds like somewhere you'd enjoy spending some time, I'd love to hear from you and learn a little about you.

    Living in the countryside offers a very different side of Ibiza from the one most visitors know. It's a chance to slow down, enjoy nature and experience everyday island life in a peaceful rural setting.

    We'll share stories, meals and conversations, and I'm always happy to exchange ideas and learn from the people who stay here. If you're interested in gardening, caring for a rural property, simple living or learning more about life on Ibiza, you'll have plenty of opportunities to experience that firsthand.

    There will also be lots of free time to explore the island, visit beaches and villages, enjoy local markets or simply relax in nature. I hope that by the end of your stay you'll leave not only having helped improve the property, but also having experienced a quieter, more authentic side of Ibiza.

  • Help

    Help

    The help is varied and includes gardening, tidying, light maintenance and generally helping me improve the space.

    I'm looking for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work and is happy to lend a hand with a variety of projects around the property.

    The work is varied and may include:

    * Gardening and weeding
    * General tidying and organising
    * Light DIY and maintenance
    * Moving materials and helping prepare different areas of the land
    * Occasional help feeding the chickens

    No special skills are required, just a positive attitude, a reasonable level of fitness and a willingness to get involved. If you already have experience with gardening or DIY, that's a bonus.

    I usually ask for around 4 hours of help per day, Monday to Friday, leaving plenty of free time to relax or explore the island.

    I'm hoping to find someone who is reliable, respectful, tidy and comfortable working independently once I've explained each task. This is a peaceful home rather than a party house, so it's best suited to someone who enjoys nature, quiet surroundings and simple living.

    I'd like to start with a one-week stay and, if we're both happy, we can decide together whether to extend for a second week.

    Accommodation

    You'll have your own private room in the house with a comfortable bed, storage for your belongings and access to a shared bathroom, kitchen and living areas.

    The house is in the peaceful countryside of northern Ibiza, surrounded by nature. It's a simple, relaxed home with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, making it an ideal place to unwind after a few hours of work.

    You'll have access to Wi-Fi, laundry facilities and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

    During the summer months, we work around the heat, so outdoor tasks are usually done in the mornings and evenings. The hottest part of the day is free for relaxing, swimming, taking a siesta! or exploring the island.

    The nearest village is a 25 minute walk away, through the forest. In San Carlos you will find cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and other amenities. The nearest beach is approximately 1.1 km from the house, making it easy to enjoy a swim after work.

    I'm happy to offer lifts when I'm already heading somewhere, but I can't provide regular transport. If you'd like to make the most of your free time and explore Ibiza independently, having access to a scooter, car or bicycle is recommended, although it's not essential if you're happy staying local.

    I'm looking for someone who enjoys a peaceful environment and is comfortable with a slower pace of life. This isn't a party house, but a relaxed home surrounded by nature. If you appreciate quiet mornings, beautiful surroundings, fresh air and simple living, I think you'll feel very much at home here.
