Description
i am an alley-picking, table-waiting, knitter with a big garden and un-resting creativity. i have a large yard, vegetable and herb garden. i could use your help weeding ,sowing, harvesting, and preserving its yield through the months of May to August . I recently built a small farm stand in hopes of selling veggies to the neighborhood. my recycled window greenhouse has been completed. We are now working on ideas for passive solar heating.
I am inviting travelers with creativity, that already have the skills, and knowledge of construction and gardening to come hang and help for a short term in NW Denver. Minimum stay, 5 days

Colorado is a popular state for vacations and Denver, it’s capital, is a short distance from my home, easily accessible via public transportation. Music, museums, hikes , summer markets and street fairs are popular day off choices. I would be happy to share some of the popular and my favorite with you.
Over the last 10 years , I have hosted guests from Turkey, France, Italy,Spain, Greece, New Zealand and the US.
I enjoy sharing stories of travel, foods and opening doors to each other’s culture.

Accommodation
The vaulted ceiling room has 2 twin beds in a large living space with an adjoining full bathroom. The room has a separate entrance accessible from the back yard, vegetable and herb garden. Access to kitchen is available for meal prep. The dining area is on the porch. I will typically provide 2 meals a day, a continental breakfast and 1 main meal in exchange for 5 hours of daily work.
I can accommodate 2 additional persons. There is a a "tree house", thanks to Workaway Lazo and Zara , available for sleeping, and it now has steps, thanks to Workaway Eric.
The “casa de pino” could use a few improvements, ie: shelving and table.
What else ...
My home is located in a NW Denver across from a park with tennis and basketball courts, a fitness workout pad and open space for fun. We are 1 mile away from 3 different hip streets with restaurants, shops, galleries and bars and it’s only a 15 minute bus ride to downtown Denver. Rocky Mountain views are a daily bonus!

It was two really good weeks. I felt welcomed immediately by Joanne, her son and their puppy.
The tasks in the garden were easy and relax.
I really like the house and the garden. Denver is a nice city, you can bike downtown in only 20min from the house.
