Hello everyone,
My name is Theano and I am an adventure seeker with passion for the world of plants and animals. From very little I would find it very exciting watching a plant grow from seed. I remember counting how many days it would take until the sprouting of the seed, measuring the height every other week and taking photos of the whole germination process. So I suppose the career path I choose was kind of predictable.
I am a graduate student from Agricultural University of Athens and I am seeking to gain experience on farming, as well as learn about different farming methods, around the world. What a better way to do so, while traveling.
My favourite thing to do in my spare time is woodworking and making things out of nothing, more or less experimenting with different materials. Photography is a hobby that helps me to express myself and capture my special moments.
My passion is to feel creative and productive, studying within the field of agriculture I fulfilled my love to read, learn, listen and get out of my comfort zone.
Being around animals and nature always makes me fill at peace, you can learn so much from their behaviour and relationships between other animals.

I have worked as a volunteer on many university projects, such as planting and harvesting different varieties of peas, and medicinal plants.
While i was studying, I worked as a florist, plant maintenance and design was a top priority.
Part of my internship was at the National Marine Park of Zakynthos in Greece were I was responsible for the conservation of animals and plants species.
On 2023 I finished my master's degree in Plant Breeding and had the chance to live 3 months in a small city North of Portugal were I was working on seed and plant conservation, it was an amazing experience and I was so happy to help with activities which aimed to prevent plants from becoming extinct.
On my free time you will find me on my small woodworking space making something and taking care of my tools or outdoors hiking while taking some nature photography shots.
