Description
🐮 Hello! 🌾Welcome to our Sanctuary page on Workaway. We are a vegan safe haven and forever home for over 150 rescued farm animals, including cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, geese and turkeys – we have a few rescue dogs too! The majority of our residents have been rescued from the intensive farming industry and they now live a peaceful and dignified life here at the sanctuary.
We rely on public donations for funding, and the sanctuary is run by a small team of vegan volunteers – around 20 who rotate shifts. You’ll be joining a warm, welcoming community of animal lovers and receive full training.
Please only apply if you are vegan thank you 🙏Types of help and learning opportunities
