Current state of the food forest, there are over 40 young fruit trees planted that will grow in within the next few years. Among the fruit trees are a diverse selection edible and support species of plants to not only provide food but also habitat for all the native wildlife.

You will gain hands-on experience in organic gardening techniques, including permaculture principles, food forest design, and sustainable composting practices. From working with a worm bin and chicken manure to nurturing nitrogen-fixing plants and edible perennials, they’ll develop valuable skills for cultivating and maintaining productive, environmentally friendly gardens.
Staying with us provides volunteers with easy access to the breathtaking Blue Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its dramatic scenery, unique wildlife, and outdoor activities. They can explore ancient forests, walk through iconic trails, marvel at cascading waterfalls, and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature, creating unforgettable memories.Projects involving children

You’ll stay in a self-contained unit equipped with everything you need—a kitchen, bathroom, and living area—ensuring comfort and privacy far beyond what volunteer opportunities typically offer. 🛌✨ In addition to working at the Food Forest, you’ll be able to expand your skills in areas such as home repairs, content creation, and marketing, enriching your experience. 🔧📸 Just a two-hour train ride from Sydney, you can explore the city on your days off, enjoying the best of both worlds: the hustle and bustle of the city and the tranquility of the countryside. 🚆🏞️ With a flexible schedule of 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, there's plenty of time to explore, relax, or pursue personal projects. ⏰🌟 If you value meaningful work and want to be part of a sustainable project, this is your chance to make a real impact while joining a supportive community. 🤝💚
