    Description

The Farm is a beautiful 75 acre countryside conservation site 10 minutes from the Jurassic Coast sea - a designated area of outstanding beauty. Here we are reseeding wildflower meadows and keep a small flock of rare breed Soay sheep, some pygmy goats, and chickens.
The farm is set in a tranquil location of orchards and fields and is also accessible to all the local area has to offer. It's a five minute drive to the pretty Charmouth beaches and ten minutes to the centre of the historic harbour town of Lyme Regis with its famous Cobb and fossil-packed beach and cliffs.

We are a family of 4 - I work as an artist from one of the farm buildings and my husband divides his time between the conservation work, working as a councillor and charity work in Africa. We have two children aged 14 and 12.

We are looking for someone with carpentry skills to stay for a week and build temporary freestanding walling for an art exhibition taking place in one of our barns. We will provide the materials and are looking for someone with the know how to build the walls in exchange for staying in the holiday cottage anytime between now (12th May) and May 24th (cottage would need to be vacated by 10am on the 24th as we have our next holiday guests booked in then). This week stay is usually sold at £945. Food is not provided. Please contact if you have any questions.
