Description
I'm an English language tutor and community broadcaster. I enjoy meeting people, sharing ideas, experiences and meals. I offer short term accommodation in an apartment in an old warehouse in central Wellington in exchange for help with a range of tasks from general household cleaning to specific projects, depending on the skills and interests of my guests.
I generally cook and share meals with guests. I eat meat and dairy but can accommodate vegetarians & vegans. From guests I expect a fair exchange of labour for accommodation & food, respect for me and my home.

I live in the social & cultural heart of Wellington so there's always something happening.
I can offer English language coaching/exchange cooking styles - I enjoy cooking and like to share meals.

I need some inside windows sanded and painted. Other projects possible if you have the interest or knowledge. What skills do you have? Can you sew?
General household help especially vacuuming/cleaning etc. is always welcome. I also have papers and files to organise. Happy to negotiate tasks & hours.

A large room in a studio style apartment. The room has a double bed and desk. There's also a pullout single bed. Shared bathroom with a shower. Washing machine available.
Note: If you have a car or van you need to make your own arrangements as I cannot offer car parking for more than one night.

Guests are welcome to join me when I go out to listen to blues/jazz /afrobeat music. And, if you like wild swimming, I swim in the nearby sea when the weather is good.
