Description
We are a family of four — my wife, our two children (ages 9 and 15), and I — living in a house by a beautiful lake, surrounded by nature, just 40 minutes from the city. Our lifestyle blends peace, outdoor activities, and connection.
We love water sports, biking, yoga, homemade meals, and growing our own vegetables. The area includes a nature reserve, birdwatching, a local museum, and weekly cultural events. It’s a perfect spot for those who enjoy both tranquility and discovery.Types of help and learning opportunities

We love sharing our culture — from homemade food and Argentine barbecues to local nature and music. You’ll be welcomed as part of the family, and we hope to learn from you as much as you’ll learn from us.
We live in a place where there is a museum and cultural activities are held every week. We have an ecological reserve near by and a great diversity of birds. Excellent space for biking and touring the lagoon.Projects involving children

Help
We’re currently welcoming one volunteer per month, ideally for a 1-week stay.
Our main goal is to host native English speakers who want to share time with our family and help our kids get more comfortable and fluent in English — through relaxed conversation and play in the afternoons.
No formal teaching experience is necessary. We’re simply looking for someone kind, patient, and clear in their speech, who enjoys sharing time with children.
-> 1–2 hours per day (Monday–Friday) of English conversation/interaction with our kids
-> Afternoons are ideal, but we can adapt to your rhythm
-> The rest of the day is completely free for your personal time — reading, walking, relaxing, or discovering the area
-> If you like gardening, you’re welcome to help in our small garden too (optional)Languages
Languages spoken
English: FluentThis host offers a language exchange
Both my wife and I speak fluent English, but our goal is to immerse our children in the language through everyday interaction and fun learning. During your stay, we’d really appreciate communicating in English as much as possible to support that goal. Of course, if you're interested in learning or practicing Spanish, we’d be happy to help and include some language exchange during your time with us!Accommodation
-> A private room with your own bathroom
-> Shared meals and family time
-> A calm, welcoming atmosphere in a beautiful natural setting
-> stable internet access
-> We love animals🐶
-> We prefer to host solo travelers, but we're open to guests with well-behaved pets
-> We’re not smokers, but we’re open if you are (outside only)
We usually drive to Buenos Aires 3 times a week, and we’re happy to pick you up or drop you off at convenient city locations (Retiro, Maschwitz, etc.) to help you explore during your stay.What else ...
If you're a native English speaker looking for a meaningful one-week experience with a family, message us! We’d love to hear from you and arrange a time to welcome you into our home.

Can host digital nomads
If you're working remotely during your travels, you'll be happy to know that we have a stable internet connection at home and there's also a shared coworking space available in our neighborhood. Both my wife and I work digitally, so we understand the importance of having a quiet and comfortable space to get things done. You'll have time and freedom to balance your work with the experience of living with a local family.
