Description
We live on a property right on the beach east of the city of Malaga. We have been living here for many years. We love to meet travelers from all over the world to exchange travel experiences.

The area is almost totally Spanish, hardly any foreign tourists around, so an ideal place to practice your Spanish :)
There are bars, restaurants and little supermarkets at walking distance from the house. You can walk for hours along the beach and pass several towns and beach bars.
Help
We ask you to help 5 hours a day. In return you will get 3 meals a day, a place to sleep and 2 days off per 5 days helped.
Workawayers normally prepare their own meals after your help unless we have a workawayer dedicated to household and cooking activities but we do share certain meals together from time to time.

I speak fluent spanish so if you want to learn the language we can speak in spanish. We can also speak in english, dutch or german if you would like to improve in any of those languages.
Accommodation
We have a few rooms dedicated to guests and workawayers. One with a bunk bed and one with a single bed. In the living room there is a double sofa bed. You can make use of the 2 showers, 2 toilets and the kitchen.
What else ...
There is a direct bus that goes into the center of Malaga just 7 min. walk from the house. You can also take the bus to the beautiful town of Nerja and from there to Granada. I can tell you of some cool sites to go to in those old cities. We have old (wind) surfboards available for you to use for paddeling. Sometimes we go for a hike in the area with the workawayers.

Tylor and Katija are an outstanding couple. They helped us in so many ways. Tyler is very skillful at fixing things as well as building all kinds of things.
