We are a nonprofit Organisation committed to the idea that sustainable community progress is more effective when power inside communities is activated. It activates this inside power by co-investing with communities to advance progress on their terms. our vision is to see a Malawi with vibrant and self-sustaining communities that harness their inherent strengths and assets to shape their destinies with resilience and innovation. We do this by unlocking the potential of local communities by investing in their ideas, strengthening their skills, and building lasting partnerships that facilitate sustainable development. We use local grant making, building community foundations, community capacity strengthening and research as strategies for achieving community transformation. We are leaders of locally led development and community foundations model in Malawi. We have 6 staff members, 3 male and 3 females, a vibrant board and conducive working space at the heart of the capital city. We conduct frequent travels to outskirts of town conducting site visits. We are located in Lilongwe, capital city of Malawi, which hosts people from across the country hence all traditional practices are closer. it is one hour to Lake Malawi with beautiful beaches.
