UPDATE: Both Chinese speaker and English speakers are available in December

Hi everyone, my name is Lê. I’m a full-time mom of three kids. We have just moved from the countryside to the city because there are many more opportunities for studying here, although we still prefer the quiet and natural lifestyle.

My family loves traveling, but we mostly travel within Vietnam and rarely go abroad. My husband and I are a bit afraid of the language barrier, and we really hope this won’t be a problem for our kids in the future. That’s why we want to teach them new languages from a young age, so they can be more adaptable, confident, and have more opportunities in their education and careers.

We heard about Workaway from some travelers we met in the Old Quarter — a famous tourist attraction in Hanoi — when we went there to chat with them and practice English. We really like the idea of volunteers and host families meeting for language and cultural exchange. We would love to be a part of this program so our children can connect with people from around the world and learn more about it

You can go to the market with me and then I will teach you cook Vietnamese dishes. I am pretty good at cooking, included vegetarian foods.
We have a small house in the countryside 40 km far away Hanoi, so we can take you to hide away from the city at your day off or weekend.
We can help you to make plan for your traveling in Vietnam, where to visit, where to stay and what local foods to eat... because we have visited many places in Vietnam.

We will prepare books, worksheets and other materials...You also can teach them in free way like cooking, going to swimming, playing sport with them.
For English volunteers: the job mostly is babysitting my 4 years old daughter in the morning and late afternoon (8.30-11am and after 6pm). We have a homestay in the suburban of Hanoi, I also welcome anyone want to live in the countryside and help me to look after the garden and take care the guest.
