    Description

    * Please do not request a placement if to travel here requires breaching movement restrictions in Spain !

PLEASE NOTE :- This is beautiful but remote area. Please don't apply unless you like peace, solitude, the mountains and walking dogs. There is a village 40 mins walk away and the coast is 40 mins by car. There is nowhere to party!

I have 20 acres of Olives in the Los Guajares mountains above the village of Guajar Alto. I have 400 trees under irrigation and another 300 to restore. I am returning the Finca and olives to their former glory after years of neglect. The house is isolated in the mountains. The nearest village is 15 mins by car and 40 mins walk. It is exceptionally beautiful here but not for those who are not content with peace and tranquillity, wildlife and dogs. We have a pool, solar power and WiFi.

The Finca is not run as a business. The oil produced is for personal consumption and for friends.

I have four dogs and a cat. Sometimes you will be asked to walk them and there are some beautiful walks in the mountains. If you do not like dogs and animals, this is not the house for you. The animals take priority in this house😄😄😄

We always need help with the general maintenance of the land and swimming pool in the sumner.

Help with family cooking is always welcome.

You will be treated as a member of the family have comfortable accommodation and nice food. Help with language is always on hand if you want to improve your English.

There are always projects to help with like stone wall building and land based garden projects etc.

This area is a little piece of paradise and you can take time to relax and reflect on Spanish village culture and the magnificence of the Los Guajares mountains.

Social drinking is acceptable but if you want to get drunk or take drugs then this is not the place for you.

Travellers will spend time in one of the most beautiful areas in Spain.

Hiking and walking are all here for the active traveller. It is an an olive farm and there is a lot to learn and experience in terms of the maintenace of the trees and harvest of the crop and general sympathetic maintenance of the land. There is a lot to learn here for those intetested in land maintenace and gardening skills.

The location is breathtaking and there is a local rural Spanish community in the nearby village.
