Description
Hi,
My partner and I live in a remout area amidst the beautiful nature of the Kashubia region, surrounded by forests and meadows. We are located in northern Poland, not far from Gdańsk. I am a graphic designer by profession, and gardening is my passion. We have a large garden, as well as ten cats and a female Malamute. We live in a peaceful spot, far from the hustle and bustle. The nature in Kashubia is stunning, so all year round, we enjoy the ever-changing colors of the landscape right outside our windows.
There are many horses in the area—a passion for many Poles—as well as a nature reserve with lakes and beautiful cycling paths. The seaside, with its lovely beaches, is about 40 km away. In addition to Gdańsk—a beautiful, compact city with a long history that is definitely worth visiting—there are Gdynia and Sopot. These cities also boast interesting histories and architectural gems, and beautiful beaches are an integral part of both these urban areas.
We have ten wonderful cats; some we adopted, while others came to us looking for food. We joke that they have an app telling them where the best food is served... Each one is different, and they can be a bit finicky. They range widely in age, and together with our Malamute—the sweetest dog in the world—they are our family.
With my partner we want to travel in january for one month, But we would welcome a workaway guest earlier. -
