Description
I am Alex a social entrepreneur passionate about real estate especially supporting young professionals to acquire their first piece of property ( house or land).
Over the years my work experience has evolved from working with charity organisations to self employment in real estate business. My current focus is on land and property sales. So if someone wishes to get an experience of the real estate space in Uganda I would be your go to person.
I look forward to language and culture exchange for any workawayer, I have no major expectation but can co-live with anyone once we have a clear open conversation.
I promise you a wonderful stay at my home as you learn about the rich Ugandan culture, great weather... tasty local dishes (Luwombo) and a beautiful scenery and animals, and a great night life.Types of help and learning opportunities

The volunteers will get to experience the local cuisine / dishes, learn the native language and meet key stake holders in the Ugandan startup arena. We shall also help the volunteers to have tours to see wild animals and birds. Before the volunteer comes, we shall also agree on their expectations to know the specific benefits they hope to get from this exchange.

Looking forward to learn more from travellers in the real estate space.

I have a 3 bed roomed house, that is warm and cozy in a secure neighbourhood. I can give one of the rooms to the volunteers to stay there. We can host at most 2 volunteers at a given time. My home is 27 Km from Kampala on Gayaza - Zirobwe road in a small town called Kiwenda. I can pick the volunteers from airport / bus station and also drop them when they plan to leave.
What else ...
There have a number of tourist happening venues you can visit, from cultural centers to historical sites, game park visits, bird watching as well as hiking within Kampala and out of kampala. I have a car, that the volunteer can use to travel around as long as they fuel it.
I shall spare time off to take the volunteers to attractive places that most foreigners visit. The volunteer shall enjoy true Ugandan cuisine (LUWOMBO) prepared locally at home and will also give them a few lessons in the local Luganda language.A little more information
