    Description

Dear Au Pair, We are a family of five: my name is Arianna, my husband Pieralberto, and our three children are Nina, 8, Teo, 6, and Otto, 4. We have two cats. We work in Cortina d'Ampezzo, a small, popular mountain resort in the Dolomites (a two-hour drive from Venice). Cortina d'Ampezzo hosted the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in February and March 2026.
My husband and I both work in tourism; I own two clothing stores, and my husband is a chef at a mountain chalet. Our schedules are very busy during high season. The children during the summer attend summer camp from Monday through Friday, finishing at 1:00 PM. They have sports activities on some afternoons. The children love doing sports and activities.
For all these reasons, we're looking for a girl over 20 years of age, determined, energetic, cheerful, very responsible, and mature young woman who's flexible with her schedule and willing to spend afternoons and weekends (not all of them) with our children, doing activities and playing together.

You'll spend a lot of time with the children; they can teach you Italian, and you can teach them English. In the evenings, we'll always have dinner together, and lunch if you wish. On weekends we often organize pizza and movie nights at home. Weekday mornings will be free for sports or activities.
There's a supermarket nearby, a 5-minute walk away. There's a bus stop right in front of the house, which takes you to the town center in 15 minutes.
In the town center, you'll find supermarkets, pharmacies, and many shops.
From the house, you can also take lovely walks and reach the town center in 40 minutes.

We ask that you spend time with our children when we're not home. We usually have dinner together in the evenings. We ask that everyone (including the children) help set and clear the table, tidy up toys, and tidy up the common areas. you will have all mornings off Monday through Friday, except on days the children are home from school. If you'd like to visit Venice or other nearby destinations, we can arrange a day or weekend of your choice and can help you find bus schedules.
