I am a 28y/o Australian, on a tourist visa in Italy for 3 months. I lived in Italy for a year, last year, and met my boyfriend Brando (Italian from Veneto). We are currently looking for a workaway for the month of October. Back home, I am an English teacher and I have worked for the last 5 years as an English as a Second Language teacher in an Aboriginal community on a remote island in the Northern Territory. Brando graduated from economics and a Master of human resources but is not interested in the corporate life. He has been working as waiter whilst he works out what he wants to do next. We both speak English and Italian, enjoy outdoor activities, working with our hands and meeting new people.

I am currently studying Italian at a language school in Italy - I am level C1 for comprehension. I am interested in continuing learning and speaking Italian while I am in Italy. I am a qualified teacher and am able to teach English language if desired.

I have a Bachelor in English literature and a Master of Teaching: for the last 5 years I have worked as a teacher in a remote Aboriginal community. I have taught students from Grade 4 through to Grade 12. I am an English teacher and have a lot of experience teaching English as a Second Language, because in the community that I worked, the students do not speak English as their first language. Furthermore, I can cook, clean, am happy to do physical tasks outside and am comfortable working with others or alone.
