Description
This is an old farm situated in the southern Norway, in the forest and close to the lake. Our farm uses solar energy.We are certified by organisation DEBIO of NORWAY, Ecological farming, Gras feeding cows, this is a small farm and non profit, we do not sell any products ,we only run the farm because we love to live in nature, eat ecologic food, take care of nature and animals, and we are working hard to get self sufficient ecological food and electricity
We like very much the kulture exchange, meeting new people and learning them life on a farm.
15 km from our farm is small town Halden, very beautiful and located close to the border between Norway and Sweden.

We like to cook and enjoy healthy food and like a good conversations at the dinner table, we often ask helpers to cook food what they like and if they have some good food from their own countries.
We like our helpers to integrate in local society and interact with us.

Help with farming for self-sufficiency only, no education needed, will been given learning, little maintenance tasks, sometimes help in the house like cooking together with us.
The helper don't need to be physically strong, Workawayers don't need any essential knowledge, expertise or skills for the help we need, just good mood :-)

I had a really great time, the tasks were easy, Jan and Koranat were very nice and the surrounding nature is just so beautiful. I also loved the friendly dogs (and the cat:) and the trips I was taken on. Overall a great stay.

Lovely place, really quiet and not too much work! We have to take care about the cows stable and go in the wood near the farm to cut trees..
In the evening we have dinner all together, and usually played some society games.. Jan is a very kind person!
