Description
Hi, I am English, 61 and I have lived in the Pyrenees for 20 years - the house used to be a B&B with evening meals but my husband died 6 years ago so I closed it and I now work as an Estate Agent.
I speak French (not perfect of course but..) I have a lovely circle of friends that you would, if you wish, get to know here.
I work full time and I need some help with the garden, decorating, bits and pieces etc. I am vegetarian (eat fish) but my friends are meat eaters so that is not an issue.
Would like to rearrange some rooms and paint them give them a spring clean. and just generally get on top of the house a little bit.
Because the house used to be a B&B, I am happy and used to having 12 people from different countries in my home - I enjoyed it. I work from home and go on visits so I am in and out a lot of the day.
I have Lola, my fat loving cat......she is great.
The house is lovely, there is a garden, it is peaceful but just a short walk into the village and I have some bikes.
If you want to know more, please get in touch, happy to chat.

I am British and have lived in France now for 20 years - I can communicate in French but it is by no means perfect. I have English speaking, Spanish speaking and French friends. So an opportunity to practice English and French - I am travelling a little more around Spain recently so keen to start to learn some Spanish but not essential.
Our friend Anna is Spanish and speaks English and French also - she used to teach languages in Spain . She is very keen on Italy and loves practicing her Italian so I am sure would be around here more often if she could do that.Help
I would like someome to come and stay with us and just help out doing bits and bobs of jobs in the house (painting a room for example, helping to clear out rooms and take to the second hand shop to sell, do some gardening).
It would be great to meet people with different experiences and to have some company around the house.Languages spoken
English: Fluent
French: FluentAccommodation
Our home - the workaway would have their own bedorom and their own bathroom. Wifi available in the room too.
If you want to practice English we have lots of British DVD's!!!
I am in and out all day so be great to have someone to share the role of cooking etc, I am pescarian but happy to just eat vegetables. What else ...
Walking distance to the village - moutain bikes available.
There is a little bar in the village.
There isn't really public transport apart from early morning and around tea time.
Skiing in Winter 10 km away.
River a 4 minute walk away with fishing March to September. Then hunting season.
A lake with rafting. Spain is 10 km away with tapas bars and restaurants.
There are thermal spas too - if you love mountains and outdoors then you will love it here - smallish village with about 370 habitants -some second homes.
There are Australian, American, Dutch, Bulgarian, Spanish, British, German residents and second homes.
Useful to have your own transport to fully explore the area, but we do have bikes and you are of course welcome to use one......and when I am popping out then happy for you to come along.
Be lovely to hear from you.

If you need to work on the computer or just like keeping in touch then there is wifi in the bedroom so yes, no problem accessing the wifi here. I use it to stream British TV so it works fine.
Space for parking camper vans
Happy for a workaway to have their own vehicle - gives them more freedom whilst here and there is ample parking space. We have had friends come in camping vans and they have got in the space - a huge vehicle would struggle turning into the driveway - ask if unsure.
How many Workawayers can stay?
