Hello, I'm Tanya and I'm from the UK. I am currently a film student and working part-time alongside my studies. I am passionate about travelling and helping others, which is what drew me to this platform as I thought this would be a wonderful opportunity for immersing myself into different cultures and making great connections whilst also being useful in a meaningful way.

I'm adaptable, not afraid to do hands-on tasks, and willing to try something new.
In the past, I have worked in recruitment/ business adminstration/retail / events asssitant and a bakery where I developed organization and communication, food preparation and customer service skills, often working with people from different backgrounds.

I have experience in people-focused roles as I have worked as an events assistant, where I facilitated a smooth and welcoming experience for guests. Additionally I currently work in a busy retail store which means I am used to staying calm under pressure. It also allowed me to hone my customer service skills, teamwork skills, being efficient and taking initiative.

As a film student, I am comfortable with photography, video editing and happy to help with social media, or promotional projects.

I also have experience in childcare as I did a work experience placement in a primary school, working with children from ages 5-9. I also did a placement in a refugee center.
