    Description

We live in the Santa Cruz mountains, about 15 minutes by car from the University in a neighborhood called Bonny Doon. I am a busy physician and have most of my time to orient you to the household and work on projects on Friday, sat, sun. So I prefer a Thursday arrival. I have 1 housemate and 3 other people live on the property in a cabins or RV. This is a sweet quiet spot in the redwoods, and I have a large sunny garden.
There is fairly limited public transportation but a lot of coming and going with all of the folks who live here.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

You will learn about life and gardening in a rural part of santa cruz, that is very beautiful. In your free time you could take up surfing, go hiking, mountain biking, take advantage of a thriving art and music scene, or just go for a walk on Westcliff, or go downtown for the bookshops and movies.
