🌿✨ Welcome to Our Spiritual Community & Kitchen Garden Sanctuary ✨🌿
    About Us
Our home is a warm, loving and spiritually open community where everyone is welcome.
We live simply, honestly and close to nature. We practice daily grounding rituals such as meditative walks, sharing circles and quiet meditation to connect with ourselves, each other and the land.
We enjoy deep conversations around the bonfire, creative gatherings, ceremonies, and moments of laughter and stillness. Spirituality here is free — we do not identify with religions, genders or races. Only presence and kindness.
Our home is 100% meat-free (you may eat meat outside the property).
We are currently five permanent residentsand there are always beautiful souls visiting — some for days, others for months.

🌱 What We Are Looking For
We are searching for a Workawayer who feels called to take responsibility for our kitchen garden.
This role is perfect for someone who:
✔ loves working with soil and plants
✔ feels connected to nature in a spiritual or grounding way
✔ can work independently and take ownership
✔ already has gardening experience or feels a deep desire to learn
✔ enjoys slow living and peaceful surroundings
Our garden has old apple, pear and plum trees, hazelnuts, and space ready for vegetables, herbs and new ideas.
We invite you to help grow and shape this living part of our home.
    Preferred Stay
We hope for someone who can stay long-term from April to September,
so you can follow the full cycle of the garden.
Shorter stays are also possible if it feels like a good match.

    🛖 Accommodation
You will stay in a cozy private caravan surrounded by nature.
It is quiet, simple and perfect for grounding yourself after a day outdoors.
You will share daily life and meals with us, while also having room for your own inner journey.

    🌸 Location
We live on a small, peaceful Danish island — just 15 minutes by ferry from Zealand.
The nature here is soft and magical:
deer, pheasants and eagles pass by daily.
The ocean is an 8-minute walk from the house, with a beautiful beach for swimming and relaxing in summer.
💗 If This Resonates With You…
…we would love to hear from you.
If you feel a connection to the land, to mindful living, and to contributing with your hands and heart, then you may be the person we are waiting for.
Let’s grow something beautiful together — in the garden and in life.
We look forward to meeting you <3
Makaya and the rest of the community.

🌍✨ Cultural Exchange & What You Can Learn Here

Staying with us offers a unique opportunity to experience life on a small Danish island — a place where simplicity, nature and community shape the rhythm of each day.
Here, travellers often discover new perspectives, new inner spaces and a deeper connection to themselves and others.

🌿 A Different Way of Living

You will experience what it means to live slowly, mindfully and close to nature.
You can witness — and take part in — how we build our community, care for the land and develop the place step by step.

Many visitors tell us that being here helps them rediscover what truly creates value, joy and meaning in their lives.

    🔥 Community & Connection

You might meet people from all over the world, share meals and conversations, and enjoy deep talks around the fire.
Locals on the island are warm and curious, and it’s easy to have meaningful conversations with them as well.

Here, connection happens naturally — through presence, simplicity and shared purpose.

    🌊 Nature as a Teacher

The island offers countless opportunities to explore and connect with nature:
    • swimming in the ocean
    • hiking and peaceful walks
    • watching wildlife
    • riding or spending time with horses (when possible)
    • enjoying the silence and beauty of open landscapes

Nature here has a way of grounding you, opening you and slowing your mind.

🏡 A Glimpse Into Danish Island Life

The island has a small grocery shop and a couple of restaurants, giving you a taste of local culture.
If you want to explore further, Copenhagen is about 2 hours away, and there are many other interesting places nearby.

🌿🔨 Supporting the Garden & Caring for Our Old Farm

Although our main wish is to find someone who feels called to care for our kitchen garden, there are also gentle tasks connected to maintaining and renewing our old farm. The buildings and outdoor areas have a beautiful history, and they need loving hands to keep them alive.

The kinds of tasks you may help with include:
    • painting small areas that need refreshing
    • light cleaning and reorganizing of the barns
    • simple repairs and fixing things in a mindful way
    • preparing outdoor areas for changing seasons
    • supporting the overall care of the land around the garden

You do not need to be experienced in renovation or building — curiosity, willingness to learn and a gentle approach are more important to us than perfection. We are here to guide you, and the work naturally adjusts to your abilities and comfort.

    ✨ Space for Your Ideas

We do not follow a strict renovation plan, which means there is plenty of room for creativity and inspiration.
If you feel called to share ideas, experiment with small projects, or leave your unique mark on the place, we would love to see what you bring.

Your perspective and creativity are part of what makes this community grow.

    🌸 Who We Welcome

    All ages are welcome here.
We simply ask that you are in good enough health to join gentle physical tasks in the garden or around the farm at a natural, relaxed pace.

We look forward to meeting you and co-creating beauty together — in the soil, on the farm and in the heart of our community.

🛖✨ Accommodation & Seasonal Life Here

No matter the season, this is a beautiful place to be — as long as you are open to simplicity, presence and discovering what truly brings value and joy into your life.
Each time of year has its own magic, its own rhythm and its own teachings.

    We currently offer:
    • a cozy private room
    • several caravans where you can experience simple, peaceful “van life”
    • space for your own caravan or camping wagon if you wish to bring one

Winter on the island can be cold, but also incredibly quiet, grounding and transformative.
We cannot always predict how warm the old house will be, but we have an effective wood stove and plenty of small heaters to create comfort.

If you already know that winter is challenging for you, you are welcome to come in spring or summer — but if you are open, winter can be a beautiful opportunity to slow down, go inward, and experience the deep stillness of island life.

Here, the seasons invite you to discover new sides of yourself and to find joy in the small things: warm tea, morning light, the sound of wind, shared meals, meaningful conversations and the calm presence of nature.

If this way of living resonates with you, then this place may be exactly what your heart is looking for.

🐾 Bringing Pets You are welcome to bring a cat or dog, as long as they are gentle and do not create stress or danger for our own cats. We know that animals need time to get used to each other, and that first meetings can take a little while — this is completely okay. We give space, patience and calm so everyone can feel safe. For travellers with a horse, there is also space available, but please note that the field is not fenced, so the horse must be safe and comfortable in an open area or managed in a way that suits you. If your animal companions are peaceful and adaptable, they are very welcome to be part of your stay here.
