We have loved being helpers in homes for a few years, but more have a young child ourselves and can’t travel anymore. Time to share the love of our wonderful magical piece of land here! Pools, springs, quick sand, rivers, water falls, hiking, biking... it’s a treasure trove here. Your own room, or TP tent (up to you), meals, fun, meditation.. app for some casual hang out time and light meaningful tasks. Fun first- help second!
Give us a shout and see a little hidden treasure.

Help around the house
We are very unique people lol. Traveled and learned but very humble and down to earth. I’m born in Texas and grew up in Reno, NV. Barbie is Arkansas born but world traveled. We paint, play music, hike, forage, swim, eat, get philosophical and love deep thought. Not big party people but love a small free and fun get together with neighbors. We can listen to and talk about anything.
Oh the help will be varied and somewhat optional. We stay busy with all Kinds of projects and we never stop building on our very unique cabin. Tinkering with carpentry, prepping gardens, Packing food, harvesting nature’s food. Tasks like this will be casual and sporadic. It’s more about the experience than getting a ton done even though we certainly have a ton to do.
We have a separate Rough room setup simply with heat and air, tv / dvd, bed - recliner and place for supplies with small fridge. We have recently began to connect this room to the house which is done to a point it is actually connected now. It’s notA complete room yet but sealed and enclosed and furnished. Has its own lock on the outside room. Bathroom is in the main house shared- just down the hall from your room. If you prefer we do have an office with a good piece of floor or even a huge tp tent if you like it more out Doors. We do have a portable toilet and showers so you can really be wherever you want. There’s really great spots!
We can take you to, and point you to many great things to do within one hour. Hiking the hardest ( literally) and craziest trail in Arkansas- to swimming in and down!- some incredible water falls. Going to the top of Rich Mountain resort to see miles, or floating the river on kayaks to hitting a little known but insane bike park with bridges, half pipes, and toys with miles of paths.. this place is very highly visited by folks with side by sides. It’s a place for adventuring!
