    Description

Hi, I'm a widow in my sixties and live with my cat Tiger and my two horses Smokey and Sissi in one of the most beautiful areas of Canada, the West Chilcotin. Originally coming from Switzerland my late husband and me settled down in Nimpo Lake where we found a beautiful log home nicely situated at the Dean River / Nimpo Lake where fishing is just great. Since my husband passed away in 2022 I try to get all the work done as best as possible. Besides my many chores, works, repairs and projects I love to go trail riding in the bush which helps me to unwind and enjoy God's amazing untamed wilderness.

I'm a Christian and love to share my faith if interested. To live in a remote area (300 km from next bigger city) without the possibility of going shopping all the time is a challenge in itself. It is a peaceful and quiet country living with plenty of time to reflect. Our next community is an Indian reserve which offers lots of opportunities to meet and learn about their culture.

I need help with making firewood during the summer months. I also need help with my daily chores like gardening, maintenance jobs around the house, repairs etc. Another project which needs to be built this year is a car port and a new dock at the river.

    Accommodation

I'm living in a beautiful log home and have a spare room with wireless internet. The meals are wholesome, healthy and there is always plenty. Since I have a little veggie garden and greenhouse, I have my own fresh produce during summertime.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

The Nimpo Lake area is famous for quality fishing. Since I'm situated in a very remote area there are lots of outdoor activities available: Wildlife watching, hiking, trail riding, fishing, biking, mountain climbing and a trip to Bella Coola by the Pacific. There are lots of opportunities to meet other people.
