Description
Hey!
My name is David and after living as a Digital nomad for several years i decided to create a Hostel & Coworking place, a home and community for digital nomads, travelers, freelancers, remote workers, for everyone who works using the Internet. A house with good wi-fi, a well-equipped place for productive work.
We are in Fortaleza da Barra, one of the most charming regions of Florianópolis.
Nature surrounds the property; we are bathed by the Barra da Lagoa channel. We provide free stand up paddle boards and kayaks for our residents, all just a few meters from the guest rooms.
The region is also ideal for hiking and riding on one of our bicycles.
We are next to several beaches, trails and natural pools. In addition to a vibrant and varied nightlife in the surroundings.
We also offer breakfast for volunteers.

A traveller can inspire to be part of an entrepreneurial and diverse well travelled community willing to share its knowledge about their work and home city.
During their free time, they will be able to enjoy the surroundings. The workawayers also can enjoy our activities for free (kaiak and paddle board).
Help
We have 5 daily shifts. A person who helps with cleaning and organizing the house, two reception shifts, one afternoon shift and another that starts late in the afternoon and goes until 11 pm and one more who does the hostel activities, taking our guests to walk and know the best beaches.
Temos 5 turnos diários. Uma pessoa que ajuda na limpeza e organização da casa, dois turnos de recepção, um turno tarde e outro que começa final da tarde e vai até 23h e mais uma que faz as atividades do hostel, levando os nossos hospedes passear e conhecer as melhores praias.

What else ...
We have a lot of interesting things to see and do just few meters from the property. There is a beautiful trail just 2 min walking from us that connect to Barra da Lagoa beach and natural pools. Down the road another trail take us to Praia mole and another one called Dólmen da Oração trail goes to the top of the mountain which has amazing views. Conceição lagoon is 15 minutes walking too. In your free time you also can use our kaiaks, bikes and stand up paddle boards anytime you want. We also have a vibrant nightlife around that you can enjoy.

During Svenja stay, she brought great ideas for the decoration and design of the space and in addition she painted a beautiful mural in our kitchen. I hope one day she comes back when we're up and running.
I would welcome her back and recommend her to other hosts.
