Description
We live in the beautiful Wicklow mountains, a 15 minute drive from Glendalough and about 20 minute drive from the dart into Dublin.
My mother owns the most beautiful piece of land that has sadly gone into disrepair as she’s gotten older and we have moved away. But we’re all back now and have lots of plans for the place!
We’re looking to make it as sustainable as possible, doing raised beds and chicken coops as well as a greenhouse hopefully! The only problem is we need your help!
On the inside my mother has had a problem with hoarding so there is lots of sorting and organising to do so if either of those things suit you please don’t hesitate to message!
This is a family home and the work will be enjoyable, rewarding, mostly light, and shared between us!
We are looking for 5hrs a day 5 days a week but if you want to go off and explore Ireland we are very flexible, if you want to do a couple of extra hrs each day and have more days off that’s fine with us too! We want to work as a team and for you to feel appreciated and like family!
I have gone to workaways myself and what I can ensure (based on my own weird experiences) is we are not a cult, we will never lock the kitchen, you can eat as much as you want, we will work together and you may leave at any time you want without ever feeling pressure to stay on even if we have agreed on more time.

We have a caravan available if you would like your own space but this is only really fesable during the summer months and we do need to do some work on it before it will be usable, or a loft room that’s separate to the main house with its own entrance. My mother and sister also live out there.
If you would prefer to glamp in our yurt that can be arranged or go between the 3!
What else ...
We live on the Wicklow way along trail which has access to the most beautiful hikes and locations in Ireland as well as the magnificent Glendalough right beside us. The glendalough bus links roundwood village to Dublin so access is no problem!
