Description
Building a Homestay focused on spirituality, wellness, and healthy living. Hence the name. We are yoga teachers and massage therapist.
We have found an amazing house in the peaceful mountain village of Naddi, which is part of upper Dharamshala. Naddi is a small peaceful village, where local life is still evident. There is the famous meditation centre here in Naddi.
Naddi is 4.5km away from McLeod Ganj, the main hub where all activity is.
Shops,cafes,banks,taxi rank, restaurants and hotels etc . It is walkable and possible to drive with car or Scooty. Bagsu and Dharamkot are also a few km further for more sightseeing like temples,waterfalls,the Tushita mediation centre and more forest hikes, and lots of yoga centres, and more cafes and artisan shops to explore. The area is famous for the Dalai Lama and its natural beauty.
At the minute it’s just me and my friend, and maybe soon my brother will come and help me. I’m originally from Rishikesh. And my friend is from Malaysia/UK.
We would be looking for someone to help us out in the beginning with some odd help , moving things around, cleaning and re organising.
Our vision is to have a peaceful Homestay with cosy comfortable rooms, rooftop yoga sessions, massage treatments and a healthy cafe serving international and local Indian dishes.
We are travellers of many years and have used workaway in Colombia and Morocco, and also volunteered during travels and gained so much from these experiences.

Learning opportunities with us here: running a business/ setting up a Homestay and yoga retreat.
The volunteers will benefit to learn Indian food, as we cook local food every day here.
Learning basic Hindi too, and english. Anyone interested in yoga can continue their practice here.
Help
Cleaning, re organising, moving small pieces of furniture ( not alone) laundry.
It will be for an extra pair of hands as we re decorate and change the rooms to our taste. The building is in good condition, it’s not run down.
And if we want to go into town to get supplies, to have someone there at home.

What else ...
Naddi is a small mountain village away from the main hub of Dharamshala. It can be reached walking from McLeod Ganj or Scooty rental is possible for 400-500 rupees a day depending on the season .
Probably suited for people who are happy with their own space and time and like to be in more semi rural quiet places.
There is a local taxi stand minutes from the house and Naddi is a small place, and taxis will take you to mcleodganj for about 300-400 rupees, but don’t quote me on that as certain.
So much to do for your time off if you love mountains areas and hiking and the outdoors.
