Description
Hello :)
We are a French family of 3 : the dad Marvin, 34, the mother Héloïse, 28, and our daughter, 4,5yo.
Our daughter is homeschooled / worldschooled so we travel a lot with her. Back at home for the moment, we still do 1 trip a month. We would love for her to have people from all around the world, with kids or not, coming to our home. We would love to meet people with all kind of interests so that she could learn about them.
We do not smoke (and I used to.) so no smoking is allowed in the house or the garden.
We would be happy to have you, your kids and pets (cats, dogs (small)...) at home.Types of help and learning opportunities
Babysitting and creative playCreating/ Cooking family mealsHelp around the houseCultural exchange and learning opportunities
If you're coming to our house, you'll get an accommodation, 3 meals a day, 1 opportunity of a trip a month in France or Europe if it's a daughter/mother trip (details to be arranged between you and us) .
We live 20 minutes from Brittany, an hour away from the sea, the "Mont saint Michel", 1h30 by train from Paris... And our village has everything you need (library, shops..). It is near 3 bigger cities where you could discover museums, French classes...
We would live to help you improve your French :)Help
We would like for you to take care of our daughter a few hours per week (no more than 10 hours and not everyday). We can talk about what you can offer and see what works best for everyone.
Your help is expected around the house like cleaning your room and the bathroom when you use it, offering your help to cook.
Bonus point if you can help us improve our English or learn another language!Languages

English: IntermediateThis host offers a language exchange
Marvin, the dad is interested in learning Japanese. Our daughter likes learning about greek mythology so we would love for her to learn Greek. But any other language is welcome in our house, Héloïse, the mum, is eager to learn new ways of communicate around the world and we think it's important for our daughter to learn about other languages.Accommodation
We offer a room with a double bed and a shared bathroom.
We would offer you 3 meals a day. We try to reduce our consumption of meat so we only eat it 2/3 times a week.
We have a garden you are free to use as you want (except for smoking).
Our house is unfortunately not wheelchair friendly, due to lots of stairs. What else ...
During your time off, you can enjoy the village, swimming pool, library, and walks.
If you want to, you can come with us during our homeschooled meetings (English and montessori classes, play dates...) or to our visits of the nearby cities and nature.A little more information
